Page, Arizona is a tourist town. The closest town to Antelope Canyon and Lake Powell, there’s lots to see and do in the area. Sometimes tourist towns mean good food. Sometimes, it means low quality pizza will still sell. In this case, it’s the latter.
Stromboli’s has many good reviews online, so maybe we just got a bad pie. But even though the pizza was slightly cold when we ate it due to travel time, it didn’t redeem itself in other ways. The cheese was too thick and the dough too flavorless.
Even so, any moment with pizza is a good moment. And eating pizza while watching the sunset at Horseshoe Bend was a magical moment indeed.
